To provide salts of lipoic acid choline ester (LACE) for use in the treatment of presbyopia, and a pharmaceutical composition including the same.SOLUTION: The present invention discloses (R) lipoic acid choline ester tosylate (LACE tosylate), illustrated by the following structure, and having at least 90% enantiomeric excess of the R isomer.
