To obtain the subject pharmaceutical preparation excellent in percutaneous absorbability, pharmacodynamic persistence and stability of a benzimidazole derivative capable of manifesting antagonistic actions on serotonin receptors in a pharmaceutical preparation by blending a specific base and a specified compound in a tacky agent layer.
This pharmaceutical preparation for percutaneous administration is obtained by forming a tacky agent layer containing (A) an acrylic copolymer, (B) 6-amino-5-chloro-1-isopropyl-2-(4-methyl-1piperazinyl)benzimidazole or its acid addition salt which is an active ingredient and (C) 2-mercaptobenzimidazole on at least one surface of a support, further blending the tacky agent layer with a fatty acid ester and preferably forming a gel type tacky agent layer. An ester of a 10-16C fatty acid with a 1-4C alcohol is preferred as the fatty acid ester. The tacky agent layer preferably contains 0.5-10wt.% ingredient B and 0.03-2wt.% ingredient C therein.
