PURPOSE: To provide a drug consisting essentially of a specified diazabicyclo nonane compound and having excellent reaction characteristic of new type, and having effectiveness for heart and conspicuous diuresis.
CONSTITUTION: The compound or its salt of the formula I, for example, N,N'- dicyclopropylmethyl-9,9-tetramethylene-3,7-diazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane is produced by allowing the compound of the formula IV to react with the compound of the formula R4-X (X has the protecting group which can divide with aminolysis). Among the compounds of formula I, a compound, in which R4 is formula III ((n) is 1-3; R5' is halogen, etc., and H, when (n) is 2, 3). In the formulas, R1 is a 1-6C alkyl, 4-9C cycloalkyl, etc.; R2 is a lower alkyl; R3 is a lower alkyl or forms 3-6C alkylene chain with R2; R4 is a 1-6C alkyl, the formula II (R5 is H, a lower alkyl, etc.; Z is a 1-3C alkylene chain, etc.).
