PURPOSE: To provide a phase current type distance protective relay device in which a fault can be detected when a ground fault arises in a different phase to each other in one circuit and two circuits.
CONSTITUTION: In No. 1 line, relays 144CD (F) 1 to 3 for dividing a line voltage by a current which is the double of a current from the power supply of a, b and c phases and relays 144CD (R) 1 to 3 for dividing a line voltage by a current which is the double of a current to the power supply of b, c and a phases are disposed. In No. 2 line, relays 244CD (F) 1 to 3 for dividing a line voltage by a current which is the double of a current from the power supply of a, b and c phases and relays 244CD (R) 1 to 3 for dividing a line voltage by a current which is the double of a current to the power supply of b, c and a phases are disposed. The detection of a different-phase ground fault takes AND condition of the output signal of the relays 144CD (F) 1 to 3 and the output signal of the relays 244CD (R) 1 to 3 or AND condition of the output signal of the relays 144CD (R) 1 to 3 and the output signal of the relays 244CD (F) 1 to 3. The detection of short-circuited fault takes AND condition of the output signal of relays 144CD (F) 1 to 3 and the output signal of the relays 144CD (R) 1 to 3.
