Abstract:
To guarantee simple control of a varactor at low cost in a phase modulation circuit for a transponder based on back-scattering.
The phase modulation circuit is provided with: antenna terminals A10, A11 provided within an input circuit EK10 for connecting an antenna AT10; a varactor C11 provided within the input circuit EK10; and a varactor control means SG10 for applying control voltage to the varactor C11 to change its capacity. At most one other capacitor (C10, C42) is serially inserted and connected between the one antenna terminal A10 and the varactor C11 or between the other antenna terminal A41 and the varactor C41.
