Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably stabilize a phase of swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT).SOLUTION: In a single mode OCT and a multi-mode OCT, a reference signal having known induced optical retardation is used for phase stabilization of an optical coherence tomography (OCT) interferogram and correction of sampling difference between a plurality of OCT interferograms. With an OCT system, the reference signal can be used for sample clock period shift or measurement time shift induced into an interferogram signal. A corresponding OCT interferogram signal is corrected based on measurement, thereby removing the shift induced by the system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
