PURPOSE: To obtain a method of producing a lead niobate-based compound oxide having a high ratio of perovskite phase by phase transition method and to manufacture a device such as small-sized actuator or condenser having high dielectric constant and excellent performances by deriving the lead niobate-based compound oxide manufactured by the production method.
CONSTITUTION: A raw material shown by the formula Pb(A1/3Nb2/3)x(Zn1/3Nb2/3) yO3 or Pb(F1/2Nb2/3)x(Zn1/3Nb2/3)yO3 (A is Mg or Ni; (x) is atomic ratio and is 0-1; (y) is atomic ratio and is 0-1; (x+y) is 1), having a pyrochlore phase is treated at 500-1,300°C high temperature under 1,000-4,000kg/cm2 high pressure so that the pyrochlore phase is subjected to phase transition into a perovskite phase to improve ratio of the perovskite phase.
