Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Phenazine derivatives of formulas I, II and III.
USE: Useful as a material having expected physiological effects of inhibiting the decomposition of adenosine -3', 5'- cyclic phosphoric acid by the adenosine -3', 5'- cyclic phosphoric acid phosphodiesterase present in animals and plants.
PROCESS: Straims of ME679-m4 (FERM-P No.4274) which belong to the genus Streptomyces are cultured, and the compounds of formulas I, II,and III are collected from the culture.
