This phenol resin molding material is a flocculation product composed of phenol resin microparticles and an aramid fiber as essential components and holds the phenol resin microparticles between the pieces of the aramid fiber. This molding material is manufactured by dispersing and stirring both phenol resin microparticles and aramid fiber in water as the essential components and making the flocculation of these components to obtain numerous flocculation products, and further dehydrating and drying these products.
