NEW MATERIAL:A phenyl(or phenylamino)alkylamine derivative shown by formula I (R1 is H, halogen or lower, alkyl; R2 is group shown by formula II, group shown by formula III, etc.; R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl with the proviso that R3 and R4 may be bonded to form morpholine ring or piperidine ring; a is methine group or N; B is lower alkylene; R5 and R6 are H, alkyl, pyridyl, thienyl, etc.; R7 is H, lower alkyl or phenyl) or a salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: 2-{[N-3-Dimethylamino)propyl-N-phenyl]amino}-5-hexyl-4-methylthiaz ole.fumarate.
USE: Useful as a preventive and remedy for gastric diseases, such as inhibitor of secretion of acid in the stomach, preventive and remedy for gastric ulcer, etc., being orally or parenterally administered.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound shown by formula IV is reacted with a haloketone shown by formula V is a solvent such as methanol, etc., under heating to give a compound shown by formula I.
