To provide a phonation-improving agent having a phonation disturbance-preventing effect and/or phonation disturbance-improving effect, especially the phonation-improving agent capable of being utilized effectively as a food and an orally or transnasally used medicine or a quasi drug.
This phonation-improving agent is a solvent extract of at least 1 kind of plant selected from the group consisting of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, elder, chamomile, lotus, carrot, Chinese matrimony vine, persimmon, hops, ginkgo, reddish kidney beans, white kidney beans, Phaseolus lathyroides, red kidney beans, chick pea, mottled kidney bean, bamboo grass, guava, Phaseolus radiatus, olive, comfrey, sassafras and peach, or by blending a solvent extract of black soybeans with the above as an active ingredient.
