Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphoric acid fertilizer raw material having high fertilizer effect by using steel making slag generated in a steel making process.SOLUTION: A high phosphorus hot pig iron obtained by conducting a reduction treatment on steel making slag containing phosphorus generated in a steel making refining process and produced slag is used as a phosphoric acid fertilizer raw material. Slag contains at least CaO, POand SiO, having a composite with PO:15% or more and the total amount of CaO, POand SiOis 50% or more by mass% based on the total amount of the slag, CaO:50 to 65%, PO:15% or more and SiOof less than 10% by mass% in a ternary system of CaO, POand SiO, preferably mainly containing CaO-PO-based crystal having a crystal structure of α-Ca(PO)and/or CaO(PO)and soluble phosphate of 4.5% or more by mass% based on the total amount of the slag. The slag becomes a phosphoric acid fertilizer raw material excellent in plant growth condition and fertilizer effect.
