To obtain new oligomers represented by a specific formula, having excellent antimicrobial activities, water- and oil-repellency, and high surface- activating performance, and capable of obtaining an antimicrobial agent, a surfactant for a drainage system, and a resin composition having excellent water- and oil-repellency and antifouling properties.
The oligomers are represented by formula I [R1 and R2 are each (CF2)nY (Y is H, fluorine atom or chlorine atom; n is 1-10) or the like; R3 is H or methyl; R4 is 1-18C alkyl; A is an alkylene; m is 1-1,000]. The oligomers can be obtained by reacting fluoroalkanoyl peroxides of formula II, (e.g. diperfluoro-2-methyl-3-oxahexanoyl peroxide) with a phosphinic acid compound having a (meth)acryl group of formula III in a molar ratio of (1:1)-(1:10) at (-20)-150°C reaction temperature in a halogenated aliphatic solvent.
