Abstract:
To enable a phosphor layer with an enough thickness to be formed on the bottom and side of a discharge cell by using a phosphor paste essentially contg. an inorg. phosphor powder and an org. component and having a specified viscosity.
This phosphor paste essentially contains an inorg. phosphor powder and an org. component, has a viscosity of 1-5 P, and pref. has a yield value S0 of 0-500mPa. The org. component pref. contains a photosensitive component. The inorg. phosphor powder is pref. the one represented by [(Y,Gd,Eu,) BO3] as red, the one represented by [(Zn,Mn)2SiO4] as green, or the one represented by [(Ba,Eu)MgAl10O17] as blue.
