To provide a phosphorescent-fluorescent lamp having excellent durability, capable of suppressing a reaction between a phosphorescent-fluorescent material and mercury, suppressing degradation of a phosphorescent-fluorescent material and the consumption of mercury, and maintaining the amount of luminous fluxes discharged from an arc tube after the power cut.
This phosphorescent-fluorescent lamp includes: an arc tube encapsulating mercury and a rare gas; a fluorescent layer provided on an inner wall of the arc tube and containing a phosphorescent-fluorescent material and a three-wavelength fluorescent material emitting light when applying current; and a pair of electrodes, in which the phosphorescent-fluorescent material is coated with a metal oxide.
