Abstract:

To provide a polymer having an excellent heat resistance at high temperature and high humidity, and also a polymer having a high optical refractive index.

The resin composition, that does not lose characteristics such as flame retardancy etc. at high temperature and high humidity, is obtained by using a polymer (A) obtained by performing polymerization of a phosphorous atom-containing monomer (a) having a specified structure or a copolymer (A-1). The polymer (A) or the copolymer (A-1) has a high optical refractive index and can be used for an excellent optical material such as lens etc.
