Abstract:

To provide a phosphorus recovery method and a phosphorus recovery system which can realize the elution of phosphorus with a high efficiency.

A phosphorus recovery system 100 comprises a phosphorus dissolution tank 9 for adding a coagulating agent to wastewater to produce coagulated sludge and eluting phosphorus from the coagulated sludge, a phosphorus adsorption reaction tank 11 for adding a zirconium mesostructure to the eluted phosphorus solution to adsorb phosphorus on the structure, a phosphorus elution tank 12 for eluting phosphorus from the structure, and a phosphorus recovery tank 15 for recovering the phosphorus as calcium phosphorus. In the phosphorus dissolution tank 9, citric acid is added to the coagulated sludge to elute the phosphorus. Further, the zirconium mesostructure is added to adsorb the phosphorus to the structure. Thereafter, the remaining citric acid solution is again added to the coagulated sludge to elute the phosphorus.
