Title:
PHOTO PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0445965
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent dust or contaminants from sticking to the surface of a transfer element again by discharging floating dust in a transfer element cleaning device part or soil and dust such as residual solid ink which drops from the transfer element cleaning device part to an area outside a photoprinter using an air circulation device.

CONSTITUTION: After printing process, residual ink on or dust sticking to a photosensitive drum 6 is removed using a cleaning buff 13 which is a transfer element cleaning device. Then the surface of the photosensitive drum 6 is irradiated with a reset lamp 14 which is a transfer element regeneration device equipped with a reflective plate 15. As a result, the surface of the photosensitive drum 6 is restored to a prelight beam projection state. In addition, the cleaning buff 13 is stored in an upper cassette 20 where an air circulation fan 21 which is an air circulation device is installed. Floating dust in the upper cassette 20 or dust which drops from the cleaning buff 13 and other mechanical parts are discharged to an area outside a photoprinter using an air circulation fan 21, while performing printing operation.
