Abstract:

To provide a photocatalyst that can efficiently reduce carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide by light irradiation, and can convert from carbon dioxide into hydrocarbon in one embodiment.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a photocatalyst for reducing carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide by light irradiation, wherein the photocatalyst comprises a carrier composed of at least one selected from metal oxide semiconductors and carbon-based semiconductors, and a metallic cobalt-containing component supported on the carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: None
