Abstract:

To raise durability against the abrasion of a member having a photocatalytic function by forming a photocatalytic layer on the recess parts of a substrate surface, and including projection parts within the effective region of the photocatalytic layer in the recess parts.

The abrasion resistance sheet 1 comprises, e.g. a vinyl chloride sheet 2 and a photocatalytic layer 3 as a base body. The vinyl chloride sheet 2 has a number of lattice-like recess stripes 4 (recess parts) on its surface at distances of 10 mm, and the photocatalytic layer 3 is formed on the bottom surface of the recess stripes 4. The depth of the recess stripes 4 is, e.g. 3 mm in both length and depth, and the width thereof is 10 mm. Projection parts 5 are formed between the recess stripes 4 in the form of being divided into the recess parts 4 incorporated in the lattice. The photocatalytic layer 3 is of a formation in which a base body protection material is coated on the entire surface of the vinyl chloride sheet 2, and then TO sol is applied to subsequently be dried and baked in an atmosphere of, e.g. 120°C. The abrasion resistance sheet 1 is cut into the size of a door panel 8 and, following this, it is stuck on the front of the panel material 8 by an adhesive applied on the rear surface thereof.
