Abstract:
To provide a photochromic liquid composition which can impart improved light resistance, improved color concentration and water resistance that have not been given with conventional photochromic liquid compositions, is hence little limited, when produced, can be used in all fields, and has excellent applicability.
This photochromic liquid composition for coatings, printing inks, writing inks, decorative lacquers, fiber-dyeing liquids, paints, and the like comprises a photochromic material prepared by dissolving a photochromic compound selected from spirooxazine derivatives and spiropyran derivatives in a styrenic oligomer having a weigh-average mol. wt. of 200 to 6,000.
