Title:
PHOTOCHROMIC TYPE PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5573046
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the stability of the photosensitive composition composed of spiropirane base organic photochromic material by letting organic aluminum compounds coexist.

CONSTITUTION: Spiropirane base photochromic material such as 8'-nitro-1,3,5- trimethyl indorino benzo pyriro spirane is added with about 10W50 times mole thereof of organic aluminum compounds (aluminum laurate, aluminum isoproxide, etc.), whereby the photosensitive composition is formed with acrylic resin and polyester resin as a binder. By the addition of the above-mentioned organic aluminum compounds, the maximum absorption of the coloring of the spiro system moves to the 100W150nm longer wavelength side and the coloration states such as of red, yellow and orange which had been difficult to develop with the spiro base alone may be created.
