Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively perform a layout of photocomposition by obtaining the photocomposition output data from the character originals with reference to the information on the head arrangement position of the character originals and having a collective output of character originals with control of the character output of a computerized photocomposer. CONSTITUTION:The character original head position information corresponding to each character original is stored in a layout data memory means 4. Then the character original corresponding to each character original head position is stored in a character original memory means 6. A photocomposition output data arithmetic means 1a of a controller 1 calculates the photocomposition output data with reference to the character originals and the character original head arrangement position information and stores it into a data memory means 7. Under such conditions, an output position control means 8a reads out the photocomposition data and controls the character output of an computerized photocomposer 8.
