PURPOSE: Title composition which is useful as a varnish for coating metal surface, etc., comprising an epoxidized polybutadiene to which an acid polycarboxylate ester and an acid phosphate ester are added, a photopolymerizable monomer, and a photosensitizer.
CONSTITUTION: A photocurable composition which is useful as a varnish for coating metal or resin surfaces, which comprises: (A) 100pts. wt. of a modified polybutadiene prepared by adding (a) an acid organic polycarboxylate ester which contains carboxyl groups and at least one terminal (meth)acryloyl group, and (b) an acid phosphate ester, to an epoxidized polybutadiene prepared by epoxidation of a liquid polybutadiene, so that the number of component (a) and that of component (b) per butadiene structural unit are 0.05W0.5 and 0.05W0.5, respectively, and the total of the numbers of components (a) and (b) is 0.1W0.6, (B) 30W800pts. wt. of a photopolymerizable monomer, and (C) 0.5W15pts. wt. of a photosensitizer.
