PURPOSE: To produce a photocurable composition good in curability at a low viscosity, a cured material obtained therefrom being superior in flexibility, chemical resistance, wear resistance, and weathering resistance as well as superior in adhesion to a base material, by blending an acrylate having a tricyclodecane structure and a specific polyfunctional compound.
CONSTITUTION: This photocurable composition contains an acrylate (A) of formula I [wherein n is the number of repeated (OCH2 CH2) units, and is 0, 1, or 2] and a polyfunctional compound (B) having 2 or more sites esterified with an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid. As the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid of component (B), acrylic acid is especially preferred in view of the curing rate. Also as the polyfunctional compound, for example, a dialcohol, a polyol, a polyisocyanate, etc. can be mentioned. Preferably, the amounts of the components (A) and (B) are respectively 5W95wt.% and 5W95wt.% based on the total amount of the curable components.
