Abstract:
To provide a light detection device capable of reducing optical crosstalk between light detection regions.SOLUTION: A light detection module 2 comprises a plurality of PD groups 221 and TIA arrays 23A and 23B. Each PD group 221 includes a PD 22a for detecting a light pulse made incident from outside the light detection module 2, and a PD 22b arranged side by side with the PD 22a. The TIA arrays 23A and 23B generate a signal corresponding to a difference between a current signal obtained by the PD 22a and a current signal obtained by the PD 22b. When a light pulse impinges on the PD 22a of one PD group 221 among the plurality of PD groups 221, part of the light pulse impinges on the PD 22a and PD 22b of at least one other PD group 221 through reflection and/or diffusion in the light detection module 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
