Abstract:
To provide a photoelectric conversion element having a high photoelectric conversion efficiency and a high durability, to provide a manufacturing method thereof, and to provide a solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element.
The photoelectric conversion element of dye-sensitized type has a counter electrode, a semiconductor electrode which has at least one kind of dye adsorbed, and a solid hole transporting layer on a substrate. The surface of the semiconductor electrode is formed of a dye phase and an inorganic oxo acid phase or a metal hydroxide phase.
