The photoelectric conversion element 100 includes a pair of electrodes 1, 2 facing each other, a sealing part 20 connecting the pair of electrodes 1, 2, and an electrolyte 3 filled in a cell space surrounded by the pair of electrodes 1, 2 and the sealing part 20, the sealing part 20 has a first sealing part 4 installed between the pair of electrodes 1, 2 and connecting the surfaces 1a, 2a on the electrolyte 3 side of the pair of electrodes 1, 2 and a second sealing part 5 installed so as to surround the first sealing part 4, and the second sealing part 5 covers boundaries 11, 12 between the first sealing part 4 and the pair of electrodes 2, 3, the side surface 2b of at least one electrode 2 of the electrodes 1, 2, and a part of the surface 2c on the opposite side to the first sealing part 4 out of the surface of at least on electrode 2 of the pair of electrodes 1, 2.
