Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric smoke detector capable of distinguishing fire smoke even from airborne particles with temperatures such as steam to thereby prevent wrong detection.SOLUTION: A photoelectric smoke detector 1 comprises: a smoke detection part 59 detecting smoke by detecting scattered light generated by smoke; and a smoke guiding part 7 provided below the smoke detection part 59, attenuating external light, and guiding inflow smoke to the smoke detection part 59. The smoke guiding part 7 includes a smoke flow path 61 formed by combining components vertically facing each other. The smoke flow path 61 includes: a first smoke flow path 63 inwardly guiding the introduced smoke; and a second smoke flow path 65 formed on an inner peripheral side of the first smoke flow path 63 and guiding the smoke passing through the first smoke flow path 63 obliquely upwardly toward the smoke detection part 59. A narrowest part 67 having the flow path width narrowed in a height direction is formed at a boundary between the first smoke flow path 63 and the second smoke flow path 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
