The printing medium waits in a state with its tip drawn out by a waiting draw distance from a roll body to a tip waiting position in a storage part which stores the long printing medium as the roll body. In a printing part with a printing head which forms a photograph image in agreement with a printing size to the printing medium, after the tip of the printing medium passes the printing head by a printing unsuitable length with a circumferential distance of at least one round of the roll body added to the waiting draw distance, formation of the photograph image to the printing medium is started by the printing head.
