Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material capable of forming a color photograph having a cyan developed density never to be impaired by Brix discoloration by controlling the pH of the photographic coating solution in a specified range and incorporating a specified polymer latex.
SOLUTION: This photographic coating solution contains the photosensitive silver halide emulsion and minute oleophilic coupler dispersed particles and it is controlled in a pH of 4.0-6.0, and it contains the polymer latex represented by the formula in which Rp1 is an H atom or a methyl group; Rp2 is a 1-8C alkyl or cycloalkyl group; D is an ethylenically unsaturated monomer; each of (x), (y), and (z) is a weight percentage proportion of each component, 25-60 weight %, 75-40 weight %, and 0-30 weight %, respectively, and x+y+z=100; a neutralization percentage of the -COOM is 0-50%; and M is an H atom or a cation.
