PURPOSE: To facilitate frame number designation for speedy reprinting operation and extra printing operation by printing a frame number read by a reader on photosensitive paper where an image of a film corresponding to it is printed on the downstream side of a drying part in a photosensitive paper conveying direction.
CONSTITUTION: The frame number of the image of the film 12 corresponding to the print image on the photosensitive paper 24 is read out of a storage medium 18 by the reader 21. The read frame number is printed on the photosensitive paper 24 which has its image printed by a printer and is passed through the drying part. The conveying speed of the photosensitive paper 24, i.e. development processing is relatively slow, so the printer need not print the image at a high speed. Consequently, the frame number of the image of the film corresponding to the print image on the photosensitive paper is easily printed and the frame number designation for speedy reprinting operation and extra printing operation is facilitated.
