PURPOSE: To improve the picture quality of a display image as to the photographic display device which align the lines of sight of many talkers for a TV conference system.
CONSTITUTION: The same talkers Xa, Xb, and Xc are photographed from different places through plural photographing devices Xij (i=a, b, and c, and j=R, C, and L) to obtain plural images photographed at different angles. When those images are projected and displayed on one of display screens Y1-Y3 by a projection device Pxij at a remote place, a screen which differ in the extent of scattering with the angle of light incidence is used, the angles of projection on the display screens Y1-Y3 by the projection device Pxij is made correspond to the directions of the photography and the images are projected and displayed at the angles at which the extent of scattering is large. Consequently, the projection images can be separated in the directions corresponding to the photography and displayed. The respective images which are separated and displayed are projected and displayed by one projection device respectively without image division, so neither the resolution nor the luminance decreases.
