Abstract:
To detect a reference calibration target on a photographic element, utilizing an existent scanner for an APS.
The dimension of the reference calibration target is restricted to a width ≤30.2 mm and a height ≤16.7 mm, which is smaller than the exposed area of a frame 14 in the photographic element 10 for the APS. Since the reference calibration target exists within a 1st zone 201, having the same dimension as the exposed area of the APS of the frame 14, a scanner designed to scan the area having the dimension of the exposed image area can be used.
