PURPOSE: To limit the usable dimension of an exposure area to a specified aspect ratio in order to obtain a panoramic print and facilitate succeeding printing operation in photographic film.

CONSTITUTION: The photographic film has a slender photosensitive strip 3 provided with a series of rectangular exposure areas 15 of the same dimension in a longitudinal direction, where the ratio of width to height is equal to or under 2:1. The respective exposure areas are previously exposed along the uppermost part 23 and (or) the lowermost part 25 so as to limit the usable dimension of the respective exposure areas in the midst of photographing so that the ratio of the width to the height may be at least 2:1. Therefore, a panoramic image format is obtained from the usable dimension of the exposure area.
