To provide a photographic processing apparatus in which a conveyance path for photosensitive material can easily be maintained and so on even when a drying processing section is arranged above a development processing section.
The photographic processing apparatus includes a slide mechanism 90 which moves the drying processing section 60 in a predetermined direction and a connecting gear 104 which is arranged on the most upstream side of the drying processing section 60 and connects a first drive transmitting mechanism 102 and a second drive transmitting mechanism 105. Then the drying processing section 60 is moved by the slide mechanism 90 to separate the first drive transmitting mechanism 102 and second drive transmitting mechanism 105, which are then released from being connected by the connecting gear 104.
