Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic processing composition which diminishes stain due to the residual sensitizing dye of a photographic sensitive material after processing.
SOLUTION: The photographic processing composition contains at least one of the compounds represented by formula (I) wherein A1 and A2 are each aryl or a heteroaromatic residue but A1 is not triazinyl; X is a divalent linking group; each M is H, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, ammonium or pyridinium; groups represented by -N=N- and -SH are not included in the molecule of the formula; n is an integer of 3-4; and r and s are each an integer of 0-10 but r+s≥2.
