PURPOSE: To effectively recover silver even in the case of a miniature laboratory scale by installing a silver recovery device for recovering silver from a photographic processing solution.
CONSTITUTION: The photographic processing machine is provided with the silver recovery device, and the silver can be recovered from the photographic processing solution in its machine, and the silver-recovered processing solution can be reused. This recovery device can be embodied favorably by using an electrolytic recovery device provided with a bed electrode, such as a fixed bed type or a fluidized bed type, thus permitting a large amount of electric current to be obtained in a relatively small volume, especially by using the fluidized bed electrode, the silver complex ion concentration in the processing solution to be sufficiently lowered.
