A photographing device includes: a pressing force detection section for detecting pressing force of a finger touching a touch panel; display control means for displaying a photographing icon on a display; contact position determination means for determining whether or not a contact position of the finger is overlapped with a display position range of the photographing icon or not; pressing force determination means for determining whether the pressing force is a first threshold or above when the contact position determination means performs real determination; and operation control means for performing a focus operation for focusing on a subject when the pressing force determination means performs the real determination. The pressing force determination means determines whether or not the pressing force is a second threshold larger than the first threshold or above after the focus operation is performed, and the operation control means performs a photographing operation when the pressing force is determined to be the second threshold or above.
