To solve a problem that sound and vibration are produced at wobbling operation time in performing AF control by using a linear motor for the driving of a focus lens.

By setting the target reaching time of wobbling speed when driving the focus lens by using the linear motor, speed is calculated from the set time and the amplitude of wobbling so as to prevent high-speed driving that the vibration is produced more than necessary.
