PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing information input device for a camera capable of executing pleasant setting operation by a single operation member even in the case of setting a mode, etc., in unspecified order.
SOLUTION: This photographing information input device for a camera 7 which is attached to a camera and performs the selection or the input of photographing information such as a photographing mode is constituted of an operation means 30 capable of rotating operation and pressing operation, a 1st selection input means SW4 operated by pressing the operation means in a 1st direction 32, a 2nd selection input means SW3 operated by pressing the operation means in a 2nd direction 33 different from the 1st direction, and a 3rd selection input means rotated to be operated. For example, a dial 30 is supported to move in the direction 32 or 33, a member 31 is integrally constituted with the dial 30, and a member 38 is supported to be turned in a direction 34 or 35 through a rotary center shaft 37 and always energized in the direction 34 by spring force. The means SW3 and SW4 are provided as switches respectively constituted on hard base plates 39 and 45 and they are turned on when perpendicular pressing force is exerted on the hard base plate.
