Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion of a magnetic recording layer on a substrate by oxygen or moisture at a low cost by forming a corrosion preventing layer contg. a rust preventive pigment and/or an inhibitor on the recording layer.
CONSTITUTION: A protective layer 3 is formed on the magnetic recording layer 2 formed on a substrate 1, and the corrosion preventing layer 4 of resin contg. potassium chromate or the like as an inhibitor and/or cyanamide lead or the like as the rust preventive is formed on the protective layer 3. Thus, the corrosion of the recording layer 2 by oxygen or moisture is prevented at a low cost.
