To provide a photopolymerized composition for color filter which can produce a high-precision color filter excelling in imaging performance with higher sensitivity and light transmittance state.
The photopolymerized composition for color filter contains a compound having two or more ethylene unsaturated double bonds, a photopolymerization initiator, and color materials. The photpolymerization initiator contains a compound represented by the following general formula [I]. (where: Ra and Rb may independently represent a replaceable chain or ring alkyl group or alkynyl group with carbon number of 1-20, may bond with carbons composing a ring B directly or via -O-, -S-, or -NH- to form a ring condensed to the ring B, or may form a ring by bonding Ra and Rb via -O-, -S-, or -NH-; the ring B represents a benzene ring which may contain any substituent other than the ring A and -NRaRb; the ring A represents a nitrogenous aromatic ring which may contain any substituent other than the ring B; and n represents 1, 2, or 3).
