Title:
PHOTORECEPTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000010318
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enhance the sensitivity and reduce the weight by forming a base material by giving an impact to a slug consisting of aluminum alloy having lithium added thereto by a punch to cylindrically draw it.

A photoreceptor 10 has a photosensitive layer 12 formed on the surface of a base material 10, and the photosensitive layer 12 consists of a charge generating layer 12a and a charge transport layer 12b. The base material 11 is formed into a thin cylindrical form by use of aluminum alloy having lithium added thereto by impact working. The charge generating layer 12a is formed by using, for example, polycarbonate as a binder resin and dispersing an azo pigment, and the charge transport layer 12b is formed by using, for example, polycarbonate as a binder and including, for example, a hydrazine compound as a charge transport layer. Since the base material 11 is formed of aluminum alloy having lithium added thereto, the charge mobility is enhanced by the lithium ion to enhance the sensitivity of the photoreceptor. The drawability is improved by the addition of lithium, so that the base material 11 can be thinly formed to reduce the weight.
