Abstract:

To improve the scanning of a photothermographic film or a photographic film without removing silver halide and/or metal silver or while partially removing those.

A photosensitive color photographic element for image recording comprising a support, a radiation sensitive silver halide emulsion coated on the support and a plurality of hydrophilic colloidal layers forming a recording layer unit for separately recording blue, green and red light exposures, wherein at least one image recording layer of the recording layer unit includes a blue- sensitive layer having an infrared dye forming agent capable of forming an infrared dye in response to imagewise exposure and thermal development.
