Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59208546
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform yellowWorange picture image having high stability for a long time and high contrast giving superior distinctness of the image, by incorporating a specified compd. an aromatic amine, and an org. compd. contg. Br or I.

CONSTITUTION: [Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-(4-phosphonoylphenyl)]methane (BHPM) expressed by the formula (wherein R1 is 1W18C alkyl, 2W18C alkenyl, aryl or aralkyl; R2 and R3 are 1W18C alkyl, 2W18C alkenyl, aryl, or aralkyl) which develops color by the light having specified wavelength L1, an aromatic amine which forms a coloring matter by the light having specified wavelength L2, and an org. compd. contg. Br or I, are incorporated. These compds. are used together with a binder and a solvent, etc. for coating on a base material. When the photosensitive compsn. is irradiated with the light having the wavelength L2 through a pattern, an image is formed due to the aromatic amine and the halogen compd. and fixed. Further, when the whole surface of the base material is irradiated with the light having the wavelength L1 (usually 200W350mμ), only BHPM in the undeveloped part develops color to form yellowish orange background. By this method, a uniform dichroic picture image having distinct contrast is obtd.
