To provide a polymerizable lithographic printing plate suitable for a CTP system, by which imaging is performed through direct scanning exposure of a photosensitive lithographic printing plate with a plate setter, that is, a polymerizable lithographic printing plate free of blurring of an exposed image, because troubles such as blocking and faulty conveyance are not produced in feeding of a plate material from a cassette with the plate material stocked therein, in plate attachment to an exposure drum and in move on the surface of the drum for alignment prior to exposure, so that neither shifting of the exposure position nor separation from the surface of the exposure drum will occur.
The direct imaging type polymerizable lithographic printing plate has a polymerizable photosensitive layer on one surface of an aluminum support and is imaged by scanning exposure with radiation, and in the photosensitive lithographic printing plate, the coefficient of kinetic friction between an outermost surface opposite to the polymerizable layer and the surface of an exposure drum of a plate setter for performing the scanning exposure is ≤0.90.
