Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01216336
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the photosensitive material easily peelable from an image receiving material by incorporating a water-proof binder in the external part of a microcapsule which constitutes a photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: The water-proof binder is incorporated in the microcapsule of the photosensitive layer. The water-proof binder is composed of a combination of a hydrophobic polymer and a reaction product of polyvinyl alcohol or its modified material and a crosslinking agent. The binder is useful for forming the continuous layer of the capsules by fixing the capsules with each other and for improving the sticking strength between the capsule and a supporting body. And, the binder does not cause a softening and a floating, even under high temp. and humidity conditions. Thus, the peeling operation between the photosensitive material and the image receiving material after transferring an image to the image receiving material, can be easily carried out by a relatively small force.
