PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive material directly developing a color in accordance with the extent of irradiation with UV energy and excellent in raw stock preservability in a dark place over a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: A leuco compd. of a pyrazolone deriv. represented by the formula as a coupler, a hindered phenol compd. as an auxiliary coupler and an acidic substance are dissolved in an org. solvent, applied on a base and dried to obtain the objective photosensitive material. In the formula, R1 is alkyl, alkoxyalkyl or aryl which may have a substituent, each of R2 and R3 is an alkyl which may have a substituent or alkyl which may be have a substituent, R4 is an alkyl which may have a substituent, aryl which may have a substituent or amino which may have a substituent, each of R5 and R6 is an alkyl, alkoxyl or halogen, (p) is 0 or an integer of 1 to 5 and (q) is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4.
