Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE PRINTER FOR RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5535256
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve reliability of a printer and also to reduce its power consumption by recording numbers, etc., displayed on a liquid-crystal display board, on photosensitive paper.

CONSTITUTION: Liquid-crystal display board 1 and plate-shaped shutter liquid crystal 2 are held by connector 3 being in contact each other. Right under liquid crystal 2, photosensitive paper 4 is arranged at an adequate interval. A voltage is applied to display board 1 firstly and a character generation signal is sent to display number 7, etc., on display board 1. In this state, shutter liquid crystal 2 is applied with no voltage and is not transparent, so that only the number will be displayed. To record this number on photosensitive paper 4, applying a voltage to liquid crystal 2 makes liquid crystal 2 transparent to allow light to pass through and the number is printed on photosensitive paper 4 by exposure to record the number through the processing of developing machine A. Therefore, the structure is simplified, reliability is improved and power consumption is reduced.
